My Slow Flow classes are an eclectic blend of several styles of yoga that I have studied over the years. In each class I create and environment for meditation in motion with attention to developing strength, flexibility, and deep relaxation. These classes are intended for both new and continuing students, and all students are encouraged to make variations with respect to their own needs. I have also completed training in prenatal yoga so I will soon be offering these classes as well.

Vicki Brooks
Vicki Brooks has spent the last 15 years studying yoga with a variety of different teachers, most importantly her Forrest Yoga teacher, Suzi Zobrist, one of Forrest Yoga’s senior instructors. Ana Forrest has developed this
style of yoga that addresses many of our chronic modern ailments. We
learn how to release tensions in our neck and shoulders after a day at
the office on the computer, texting on our phones, or driving in
commuter traffic. We find a deeper connection to our breath. What
Vicki finds to be the sweetest part of Forrest Yoga is the strong
abdominal exercises that connect us into our core. Learn how strong abs
will help to support your back, and support your whole being from the
center outwards. Open to all levels, especially beginners, welcome!

PiYo™ is a unique class designed to build strength & gain flexibility. The moves fit perfectly together to form a class filled with intense choreography that’s fun, challenging and will make you sweat. It’s about energy, power, and rhythm. Think sculpted abdominals, increased overall core strength, and greater stability. It is a pre-designed class that will really get your heart rate going as it features various styles of yoga and Pilates in continuous movement and flow from one exercise to another. Sometimes I describe PiYo as a hyper version of yoga, but with the benefits of deep breathing, balance, stretching, strengthening and relaxation. In a nutshell, PiYo will rock your world! Once you try it, you’ll find that PiYo is unlike any other format, and guess what? You’ll love it. Don’t worry, there is no previous experience required.
